Teeing-off with Roger Taylor memorial match

17922993_sUK: The Thames Valley BTU Golfing Society tees-off its 2015 season with the Roger Taylor Memorial Trophy event at Calcot Park, near Reading on April 28th.

Sponsored by Daikin distributor Space Airconditioning, the event is in memory of the late Roger Taylor, former Space Airconditioning operations director and long-time secretary of the Thames Valley BTU Golfing Society.

Thames Valley BTU is one of 14 regional groups making up the national BTU Golf Society. Formed in 1926, the national Society has its origins amongst golfers of the Institution of Heating and Ventilating Engineers (IHVE). The IHVE was founded in 1897 and amalgamated with the Illuminating Engineering Society in 1976 to form what is now the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers.
