Top talent sought for skills competition

UK: Talented UK air conditioning and refrigeration apprentices or students are being sought to take part in this year’s SkillFridge competition.

SkillFridge is the national refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump competition which forms part of WorldSkills UK, a government led initiative designed to champion apprenticeships and technical skills development programmes.

TheSkillFridge competition is aimed at apprentices and students studying up to Level 3 RACHP. It provides an opportunity for entrants to showcase their knowledge and skills and compete in an exciting and pressurised environment.

The skills competition qualifiers will be hosted in colleges across the UK, leading to the finals in November at the Skills Show at the NEC. Success at the national final could lead to an invitation to be part of the British team at the WorldSkills UK international competition.

Registration is open until April 7.
