Toshiba 3-pipe wins H&V News Award

Toshiba Air Conditioning director and general manager David Dunn with the latest trophy

UK: Toshiba’s new SHRM-e 3-pipe heat recovery VRF air conditioning system was named Commercial HVAC Product of the Year at last night’s H&V News Awards.

Launched in February, the SHRM-e looks set to build on the success of Toshiba’s SMMS-e VRF which completed a clean sweep of UK awards last year, including success at the H&V News Awards 2016.

In winning the Cooling/Ventilation category, Toshiba’s SHRM-e fought off competition from nine other shortlisted products including Daikin’s VRV i-Series.

SHRM-e is said to deliver a number of improvements including the inclusion a new two-stage rotary compressor and an intelligent control system.
