UK third in industry sailing event

UK: The UK has achieved 3rd place in this year’s annual air conditioning and refrigeration sailing event in France.

The Voiles Du Froid is an annual three-day sailing event organised by refrigerant supplier Climalife offering refrigeration and air conditioning professionals from all over Europe the chance to meet in a unique event in a beautiful setting.

Climalife UK managing director, Allan Harper, skippered one of this year’s 19 vessels with crew from the UK and Germany, taking part in regattas around the stunning islands of the Gulf of Morbihan and towards the Ile aux Moines, in the Brittany region of France.

Allan said “The Voiles Du Froid is an excellent opportunity to spend valuable time with our customers and colleagues from across Europe in a relaxed and fun atmosphere.”

This 22nd edition was sponsored by Assurfroid, Clima+confort, Eurovent, GEA Heat Exchangers, Exxon Mobil, Honeywell, HRS, ITE, French magazine RPF and French refrigeration association Snefcca.
