Warners combines awards events

NACRHPA-logoUK: The National ACR Awards and the National Heat Pump Awards are to be combined into one event.

The decision taken by organiser Warners Group, following discussions with industry, sponsors and the awards judges, means that the National Heat Pump Awards due to take place in June will now be combined with the National ACR Awards in January.

The new National ACR & Heat Pump Awards will take place at the Town Hall in Birmingham on January 28.

An announcement on the Awards website says that following discussions it was felt the time was right to take the next step in rewarding excellence for the sector.

‘Everyone is well aware of the cross-over in manufacturing,’ it says. ‘There is however, still a substantial gulf between heating engineers and acr contractors. It can only be extremely positive to mix the cream of the crop under the same roof, helping to give a greater understanding and knowledge on installations and best practice within the domestic, industrial and commercial sectors.’

Entries for the National ACR & Heat Pump Awards are already open. The categories are:

ACR Commercial Project
Domestic Air Source Project
ACR Retail Project
Domestic Ground Source Project
Non Domestic Air Source Project
Non Domestic Ground Source Project
