The latest in metal processing technology from Salvagnini has been installed at Williams’ Kings Lynn site, a new generation of automated sheet metal panel bender offering the very best in lean manufacturing, automation and overall production flexibility.
“We have invested over £1.5m in these two new machines, and have a continued investment plan to further support our commitment to constantly improving our products and the lean manufacturing systems that we operate in our factories at Kings Lynn and across the world,” said md Tim Smith.
The new equipment has been quickly integrated into the existing Williams manufacturing facilities. The latest generation Salvagnini machine is said to bring the very best in lean manufacturing; automation and overall production flexibility. The ability to automatically inject polyurethane insulation marks an upgrade to the company’s foaming plant for cabinets and doors.
