Andrea Vallejo appointed chair of EPEE

BELGIUM: Andrea Vallejo, Johnson Controls vice president & general manager global industrial refrigeration, has been elected chair of EPEE, the European Partnership for Energy and the Environment.

Vallejo succeeds Danfoss Climate Solutions president Jürgen Fischer, who has held the role for the last two years. Also elected during EPPE’s AGM last week were Rainer Grosse-Kracht of Bitzer, who was elected vice-chair, and Luc Dehon of Climalife, who was elected treasurer. 

Also a member of Johnson Controls sustainability leadership committee, Andrea Vallejo joined Johnson Controls in 2008 as strategic planning director, Europe and Africa. Since then, she has held several operational and general management responsibilities in Europe & Africa and Latin America, before being appointed to her current role in 2020. Prior to joining Johnson Controls, Vallejo spent three years at Carrier, latterly as EMEA marketing manager.
