ARBS 2022 rescheduled due to Covid uncertainty

AUSTRALIA: Uncertainty over the Covid-19 situation going into 2022 has prompted the organiser of Australia’s Air conditioning, Refrigeration and Building Services exhibition (ARBS) to reschedule its next event.

Originally scheduled for April 2022, the show has now been moved to August 16-18 following discussions with the venue owners, the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Exhibition manger, Sue Falcke said the decision was made to move the event to August to ensure the health and safety of all exhibitors, staff, and attendees. “Given the current Covid-19 situation in Australia combined with the difficulty in predicting the outlook for early 2022, it was felt a short delay would bring about more certainty allowing ARBS to deliver on its full show format.”

The biennial international event normally hosts over three hundred exhibitors, drawing attendances of over 7,000.

“Our ongoing priority has always been to ensure the safety of everyone at the event,” said Falcke. “We anticipate, by moving ARBS 2022 to August, the situation in Australia will be much improved.”

The last show in Sydney in 2018 was the largest ever, attracting over 9,000 visitors.
