Daikin’s Weinmann elected FGK chairman

GERMANY: Volker Weinmann, Daikin Germany’s public affairs manager, has been elected chairman of FGK (Der Fachverband Gebäude-Klima eV), the German air conditioning and ventilation industry association.

FGK represents the interests of its approximately 300 members, drawn from politics, business, standards institutes and science. 

Volker Weinmann has held various positions within the Daikin Group over the last 20 years. In his current position as representative for politics, the environment and associations, he represents Daikin in numerous committees, associations, initiatives and organisations. 

His main interest is environmentally-friendly building technology, particularly heat pumps, and to help shape the energy transition in the building sector.
