Danfoss seeks environmental EnVisioneer

11575573_sUSA: Danfoss is seeking entries for its sixth annual EnVisioneer of the Year award competition.

Launched in 2010, the competition recognises US original equipment manufacturers, building owners, municipalities, and end users that have introduced a new product, opened a new facility, or invested in a building or system upgrade in the past 18 months using Danfoss products or solutions to realise significant energy and/or environmental savings.

Interested participants may enter the competition by submitting an application by May 1. Entries will be judged by an independent panel of judges representing various disciplines.

“Over the past five years, the EnVisioneer of the Year programme has recognised outstanding achievements in energy efficiency and climate impact,” commented John Galyen, president, Danfoss North America. “It is clear energy and climate are important issues to our industry and something we prioritise at Danfoss. It’s part of our global Engineering Tomorrow commitment: to deliver quality, reliability, and innovation to help our customers prepare to meet future climate and energy regulations.”

Previous recipients of the EnVisioneer of the Year award have included: Daikin Applied, Mars Super Markets, Multistack, Smardt Chiller Group and Winn-Dixie.
