DiversiTech expands in Europe

The Castel Engineering facility in Mouscron, Belgium

USA: DiversiTech, the US HVACR component manufacturer and supplier, has announced the formation of DiversiTech Europe, following the acquisition of three new European component brands.

The acquisition of Belgium-based Castel Engineering and its sister companies Artiplastic of Milan and Rodigas of Padua, Italy, will see the merger of the three companies along with the existing DiversiTech/Pump House business in the UK.

Between them, the three companies produce a range of plastic and metal components for the HVACR industries, including air conditioning supports and bracketry, plastic ducts, condensate trays and pipes, and plastic components for coldrooms.

Artiplastic, Castel and Rodigas will continue to be run as separate brands under their existing management.

“Having these three great companies join DiversiTech is significant not only for the launch of the DiversiTech platform in Europe, but also for the additional products and services they will provide to our customers in North America,” said DiversiTech CEO Andy Bergdoll.

The combined company will have eight manufacturing plants in the US and Europe.

Founded in 1971 and headquartered in Atlanta, DiversiTech Corporation maintains over 1,000,000ft2 of manufacturing and distribution space in the USA, Canada and Europe.
