Mark Kuntz (left) is set to retire, being replaced by Andrew Kelso (right)

USA: Mark Kuntz, the CEO of the Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US joint venture (METUS) since its formation in 2018, is set to retire at the end of this month.

He will be replaced by current COO Andrew Kelso, with Kuntz remaining in an advisory role through a transition period.

Kuntz, who has worked for Mitsubishi Electric in the US since 2010, was initially COO overseeing the formation of the new joint venture, being made CEO in 2019. Prior to joining Mitsubishi, he spent two years with Lennox International.

Kelso joined METUS in 2018 as CFO and became COO in 2022.

METUS is a leading supplier of all-electric, all-climate ductless and ducted mini-split and VRF heat pump and air conditioning systems in the United States and Latin America.
