Nordic Climate continues Dutch expansion

SWEDEN/NETHERLANDS: The Nordic Climate Group continues its expansion in the Netherlands with the acquisition of Breda-based contractor Huijbregts Koeltechniek.

Founded in 2002, Huijbregts Koeltechniek provides refrigeration and climate solutions across the southern Netherlands, with a strong emphasis on “natural” refrigerants, primarily CO2. The company employs around 20 people and generates revenues of approximately €5m.

Owners Tom and Rob Huijbregts will remain as shareholders of Nordic Climate Group and continue to develop the business together.

This latest take-over by the Nordic Climate Group follows previous acquisitions this year of Dutch firms Climanova and IJskoud BV.
