Russia and Korea win refrigeration gold

RUSSIA: Korea has shared Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Gold with competition host country Russia at the WorldSkills competition in Kazan.
Russia’s Aleksandr Leushin and Korea’s Ju-Hwan Go won through against 26 other young refrigeration competitors from across the globe to take joint Gold Medals at this evening’s 45th WorldSkills Competition awards ceremony. Australia’s Patrick Brennan won the Bronze Medal.
The biennial competition, taking place at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre, brought together more than 1,300 young professionals from 63 countries and regions to compete in 56 skills competition.
In addition to the Gold and Bronze medals, 12 Medallions for Excellence were awarded to competitors who obtained 700 or more points.
