Zardo to head Schneider Electric Italia

ITALY: Davide Zardo, former CEO of Italian precision air conditioners and refrigeration systems manufacturer Uniflair, has been appointed as president and CEO of Schneider Electric Italia.

Davide Zardo will take over from Aldo Colombi on June 1 who is retiring after 35 years with the company – 17 years of which was spent as president and CEO of Schneider Electric SpA and seven years at the helm of the Central Eastern Europe organisation.

Zardo joined Schneider Electric in December 2010 following the acquisition of Uniflair and subsequently took on the role of business development director for Schneider’s cooling organisation in EMEA, vice president of the Secure Power division and then, in 2018, assumed the role of general manager of the company’s emergency lighting business.
