AI-powered wall-mount air conditioner

GERMANY: Midea Europe GmbH is launching Solstice, a new wall-mounted air conditioner that combines energy-efficiency with artificial intelligence.

The heart of the new product line is the AI Ecomaster, described as an AI-supported algorithm that predictively regulates optimal heating and cooling performance based on billions of data points. In addition to reacting to room temperature, AI Ecomaster is also said to analyse environmental and usage factors to dynamically adjust operation.

Available in black and white, Solstice claims an SEER up to A+++, and SCOP up to A++ at -15°C to +50°C cooling and -25°C to +24°C heating.

Using R32 refrigerant, units are available in five power ratings from 2.6kW to 7kW cooling and 2.9kW to 7.3kW heating. Indoor unit sound pressure level is down to 19dB(A).

Maximum pipe length is up to 50m and height difference is 25m.
