CTC adds high capacity R290 ATW heat pump

SWEDEN: CTC has announced the launch of the EcoAir 720M, the highest-capacity unit in its EcoAir 700M range of modulating air-to-water heat pumps.

Designed specifically for larger properties, the 720M uses R290 refrigerant and employs variable-speed technology to achieve A+++ energy efficiency.

With a heating capacity of up to 22kW, it achieves a maximum leaving water temperature of 75ºC.

Acknowledging that heating large properties from a single unit has been a long-standing issue for installers, Darran Burrage, commercial director at CTC-UK, said “This unit delivers the high-capacity performance that specifiers and installers have been asking for, whilst maintaining our commitment to environmental responsibility through the use of R290 refrigerant and achieves A+++ efficiency ratings.”

The 720M carries a 1.2kg charge of R290. Sound power levels are down to 54dB(A).
