Danfoss adds hygienic heat exchangers

DENMARK: Danfoss has launched a range of hygienic gasketed plate heat exchangers for a variety of applications in the food and beverage industry. 

According to Danfoss, these heat exchangers meet the most stringent hygienic requirements, utilising FDA-compliant materials.

The modular frames can be flipped and rotated to function as both head and follower, which Danfoss says significantly reduces complexity, simplifies the assembly process and shortens delivery times. 

The frame extender minimises the footprint of the heat exchangers by requiring less space for plate installation, making it ideal for facilities with limited space. Additionally, it simplifies service and maintenance processes, ensuring ease of access and reduced downtime.

The brackets are designed to enable either floor installation or mounting on a skid. 

Working pressure of the new heat exchangers is 10 to 25bar, while working temperature is -10 to 150 C°.
