Tools for fast, leak-free system evacuations

USA: Ritchie Engineering has added two new HVACR service tools to its portfolio of Yellow Jacket products – the Vacuum Y with RealTorque core removal tool and Deluxe MaxFlow evacuation kit.

The patent-pending Vacuum Y features the industry’s first integrated RealTorque core removal tool (CRT). The dual-path ‘Y’ design, coupled with the ability to remove the Schrader core with the integrated CRT, increases evacuation volume to allow for faster system evacuations. The RealTorque torque limiting technology ensures the Schrader core is properly reinstalled to guarantee the system to remain leak free.

The Vacuum Y is available in 1/4in, 5/16in and 1/4in with 5/16in adapter separately or in the Deluxe MaxFlow evacuation kit.

The Deluxe MaxFlow evacuation kit features 1/4in Vacuum Y CRT with 5/16in adapter, (2) 60in 1/2in heavy duty charging hoses, and either (2) 3/8in MFL X 3/8in FFL straight (P/N #93914) or (2) 45° (P/N #93916) ball valves. The 1/4in hose with Vacuum Y with RealTorque core removal tool (CRT) is said to be proven to speed up system evacuation by 10x.
