UK launch of latest press-fit system

UK: Conex Bänninger has officially launched its latest press-fit system for air conditioning and refrigeration applications.

The >B< MaxiPro system was previewed at Chillventa last year with further details revealed in July. Now the system is being officially rolled out in the UK with availability through Beijer Ref outlets Dean & Wood, HRP, RW Wholesale, as well as Climate Center, Brymec and Alpha Wholesale.

Specially designed to manage the demands of air conditioning and refrigeration applications, the copper >B< MaxiPro is said to be a mechanically strong and resilient press-fit system that is quick and simple to use, providing a secure, permanent and leak-free joint and available in sizes 1/4in to 1-1/8in.

The product is available in a host of fittings types including, straight coupler, reducing coupler, fitting reducer, 90º bend, 90º street bend, 45º obtuse elbow, equal tee and stop end variants.

“With the success of Conex Bänninger’s >B< MaxiPro launch in other international markets, we firmly believe that we have developed an innovative product that provides a best-in-class solution for UK contractors and engineers in air conditioning and refrigeration applications,” said Conex Bänninger’s UK OEM & ACR business unit director Bill Barlow.

The >B< MaxiPro fittings can be used with annealed, half hard or hard copper tube that conforms to EN 12735-1 or ASTM-B280.
