Beijer Ref buys US distributor AM

USA: Swedish refrigeration and air conditioning wholesaler has made a further advance into the US market Beijer Ref with the purchase of Florida-based AM Distributors. 

Founded in 2014 and headquartered in Miami, AM Distributors operates branches across Miami, Miramar and Hialeah. It boasts annual net sales of approximately SEK460m ($50m) and good profitability.

The company will continue operating under its existing brand. 

Beijer Ref has made a number of acquisitions in the US since first entering the market in 2022 with the purchase of Atlanta-based Heritage Distribution.
