Freor test lab operational

LITHUANIA: Commercial refrigeration equipment manufacturer Freor has completed the installation of a refrigerated display cabinet test laboratory at its new factory in Vilnius.

The new 90m² certificated laboratory complies with ISO 23953 for refrigerated display cabinets. It will enable Freor to test any refrigerant, including CO2 equipment, with both integrated and external units.

A smaller chamber of 37m² performs all the experimental and randomly selected serial model tests, such as energy consumption, defrosting and specific parameters linked to a specific region according to temperature classes, refrigerant quantity and pressure settings and leakage prevention.

It is capable of testing refrigerators to any country’s electricity network and meets the EU Energy Labelling (EU) 2019/2018 regulation requirements.
