GERMANY: LG has installed its first R32 VRF air conditioning system at an office block in Bremen.

The LG Multi VS R32 mini air conditioning system was put into operation this week at the office of building and industrial technology contractor Geitekk GmbH.

The system is connected to seven LG indoor units in the administration building. The Mini VRF solution was launched last autumn and boasts a SCOP value of up to 5.0 and a SEER value of up to 8.7.

“Our customer wanted a future-oriented, ecologically compatible solution for air conditioning his own building,” explained Andreas Gelbke, sales manager air solution at LG Electronics Deutschland. “By opting for the LG Multi VS R32 and the associated highly efficient refrigerant, Geitekk GmbH is well prepared in this regard – and at the same time, as the real pioneer of the air conditioning technology of tomorrow, installed the first Mini VRF system with R32 in Europe.”

The compact Multi VS is available in 4, 5 and 6hp variants. It allows connection of up to 13 indoor units.
