AHU connection kit for Panasonic VRF

UK: Panasonic has announced a new air handling unit connection kit, available with its two-pipe VRF ECOi range including the new R32 ECOi EX MZ1 series.

The kit is said to support a wide range of applications, from compact commercial installations to larger-scale developments.

The kit offers several sizes of selectable expansion valves to meet various project capacity requirements. The AHU kit control manages capacity ranges in line with compatible VRF indoor units, covering nominal cooling from 12kW-134kW and nominal heating from 12.5kW-150kW.

A key feature is the built-in controller which manages daily operational functions and service levels without the need for additional external components. Integration into BMS is simplified through Modbus communication.

The airflow range has been extended, achieving a maximum airflow of 40,000m³/h when paired with 44hp-48hp multi outdoor units.

Additional features include 0-10V control and fine-tuned capacity adjustment in 5% increments.
