Bringing multi-temp flexibility to chef’s drawers

UK: Williams’ chef’s drawers are now available as multi-temperature models, following the launch of the Jade MultiTemp range.

Chef’s drawers are individual refrigerated units, made of stainless steel throughout.  They bring refrigerated storage right to the heart of busy commercial kitchens, for example as part of a chef’s station, which is why they are designed to cope with ambients as high as 43°C.

The Jade MultiTemps can be adjusted to any temperature from +4°C to -22°C, so that they can store specific food products in exactly the right conditions.

There are two models in the range: the VRWCD1 has the refrigeration system at the rear of the unit, while the VSWCD1’s system is side-mounted. The VRWCD1 is 880mm wide and 850mm deep, while the VSWCD1 is 1100mm wide but just 670mm deep. The units can even be stacked from a height as low as 838mm, offering a space-saving refrigeration combination that maximises storage and fits under a 900mm high work top.

They accommodate 2/1 GN pans, up to a maximum depth of 150mm. Cleaning is straightforward, thanks to removable drawers and fittings. Swivel and brake castors lock them solidly in place. The castors come in a choice of sizes, and there’s also the option of adjustable legs.
