Güntner adds new gases to design software

GERMANY: Heat exchanger manufacturer Güntner has updated its product design calculator to include new refrigerants R449A, R452A and R513.
In addition to the new refrigerants, the product design calculator (GPC) now includes further ErP-compliant units across the entire product range.
The Güntner Product Calculator is a design software which allows for a quick and easy thermodynamic design of the desired unit. It is available in Europe, North & Latin America and Asia & Pacific Ocean versions.
Güntner says that the addition of the new refrigerants brings the number of fluids available via GPC to 50, ensuring that the suitable unit with the right fluid will be found for each and every application.
R449A and R452A are lower GWP replacements for R404A and R507. R513A is a drop-in refrigerant for R134a.
