Haier adds R290 commercial heat pump

ITALY: Haier is expanding its range of professional climate solutions with the launch of an R290 commercial air-to-water monobloc heat pump.

The new R290 solution is available in capacities of 26, 30, 35 and 40kW, with the possibility to cascade up to eight units.

It is fitted with a refrigerant leak detector, refrigerant separator alongside a fully sealed electrical control box.

The commercial range maintains two-core wiring the same as the existing Haier residential heat pump range and has zone control.

With energy efficiency ratings up to A+++ and SCOP values up to 4.91, the unit is capable of producing hot water temperatures of up to 80°C.

The unit’s monobloc design, with the refrigeration circuit integrated into a single outdoor unit, simplifies installation by requiring only hydraulic connections on site. This reduces installation complexity and commissioning time, helping contractors and building owners deliver projects more efficiently.

Designed with user comfort in mind, the system also offers quiet operation, with sound levels starting from 47dB(A), and includes zone control functionality to support more precise temperature management across different areas of a building.
