Hitachi upgrades 3-in-one heating and cooling

FRANCE: Hitachi Cooling & Heating has announced a new evolution of its airHome Triple C system: a multi-split thermodynamic water heater that combines DHW production, heating and cooling.

This all-in-one solution, using R32, is said to be suited to both new-builds and refurbishments.

The outdoor unit is available in three capacities – 5.3kW, 7kW, and 8.5kW – and can supply up to four indoor units and a hot water tank, with seven compatible indoor models, including wall-mounted, floor standing, cassette and ducted models, all under multi-zone control.

All new-generation airHome indoor units compatible with airHome Triple C now feature FrostWash technology – a self-cleaning function that helps prevent and eliminate pollutants from the heat exchanger.

The hot water tank is available in two sizes – 190 litres and 270 litres. The compact 190L model fits into a 60x60cm space, making it ideal for kitchen or cupboard installations.

For added durability, an optional titanium active anode (ACI) is available for high-risk areas – ensuring long service life and peace of mind.

Smart connectivity comes standard with wall-mounted units and console units, while cassette and ducted systems offer it as an option.

All models are fully compatible with Google Home and Amazon Alexa via the airCloud Go app.

The airHome Triple C is currently not available in the UK.
