Multijet AC has 20m throw

JAPAN: Daikin Industries in Japan is to release a new air conditioner for large spaces that is capable of delivering air up to 20m away.

The Multijet air conditioner will be released in Japan in mid-April 2026 as a cooling solution for large spaces such as factories, gymnasiums, and maintenance yards.

The air conditioner is equipped with Daikin’s special rectifying plate that suppresses airflow dispersion and delivers air up to 20m away. This product can be connected to the VRV7 multi-air conditioner for buildings and Daikin Japan’s machi multi, multi-split air conditioner for stores and offices.

The Multijet supports ceiling-mounted, wall-mounted, and floor-standing installations and provides piping lengths up to 165m. It is also compatible with Dasikin’s centralised control devices and cloud-based air conditioning control service DK-Connect.

Equipped with outlet temperature control as standard, it suppresses excessive operation while providing airflow at the appropriate temperature at speeds of 1m/s even 20m away.
