Qvantum’s R290 water-source heat pump

UK: Qvantum has launched a new R290 water-to-water heat pump for communal ground-source systems and individual ground source projects.

With heating capacities of 7kW and 14kW, the QG delivers heating, cooling, and domestic hot water in a single integrated unit. It features an accumulator tank that acts as a thermal battery with heat storage up to 90°C. 

Its compact footprint makes it suitable for retrofit and new-build, and its pre-plumbed, plug-and-play design makes for fast installation.

With a wide operating envelope of -10°C to 40°C, the QG is said to be suitable for any energy source.
