SWEP BPHEs for data centre cooling

SWEDEN: SWEP has launched two new brazed plate heat exchangers (BPHEs) to meet the growing market demand in data centre cooling and district energy applications.

Both new products, the B327 and B224, expand the range of SWEP liquid cooling solutions for data centres and share design features including large ports for high flow rates, low pressure drop, and high thermal efficiency.

These BPHEs are said to provide a tight temperature approach in a compact heat exchanger format, making them suitable to fit the confined spaces of a data centre where CDUs are more frequently used to handle high-density heat loads.

The B327 can also be used to capture excess heat from data centres, thermal storage, heating substations and tap water stations up to 1000kW.
