Zanotti updates CUB condensing units for A2L refrigerants

UK: Hubbard Products has announced the launch, next month, of an updated Zanotti CUB condensing unit range engineered to support A2L refrigerants.

The updated series will be available in medium temperature (+5°C to -20°C) and low temperature (-15°C to -40°C) variants, covering capacities from 0.5hp to 50hp in medium temperature applications and 0.7hp to 44hp in low temperature.

Single, dual and triple fan configurations are included to support applications ranging from small commercial plant rooms to larger semi-industrial outdoor installations.

Employing Bitzer semi-hermetic compressors, the revised design incorporates the necessary adjustments to accommodate mildly flammable A2L refrigerants whilst retaining the robust steel housing and established CU layout.

By offering both HFC and A2L capability within the same platform, the updated CUB range is intended to reduce specification disruption.

Contractors can align with lower GWP strategies where required, while maintaining continuity across mixed refrigerant estates.

The units feature acoustic insulation, six-pole condenser fans and pressure-controlled fan speed regulation to support installations where operational sound levels are restricted.
