Nordic Climate buys Kool It

3rd June 2026

UK: The Swedish contractor group Nordic Climate continues to expand in the UK with the acquisition of Manchester-based HVACR contractor Kool It Services.

Founded in 1972 as a family business, Kool It is today led by Rick and Clare Dearden, with the company now in its second generation.

Located in Droylsden, the company operates from a 2500ft² warehouse with purpose built office mezzanine. It has 19 employees and serves customers across sectors including offices, retail, healthcare and food and beverage.

The company will continue to operate under its existing local brand and leadership as part of Nordic Climate Group.
