Jomard to become Flakt Group CEO

GERMANY: Thierry Jomard is set to replace Dr Walter Rohregger as CEO at the Fläkt Group.

Thierry Jomard, who will take up the appointment by October 15 at the latest, has worked for 25 years with United Technologies at both Carrier and Otis, including a spell as president of Carrier Commercial Refrigeration.

Dr Walter Rohregger was appointed to the role in October 2016 following Fläkt Woods’ acquisition by investment group Triton and merger with DencoHappel. He is said to be leaving to pursue other activities.

Speaking on behalf of the board of directors, Herbert Doleisch said: “We are confident that Thierry will lead Fläkt Group into a phase of profitable growth with innovative products, solutions and services with an obsession to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations. We would like to thank Walter for his outstanding commitment and contribution to the significant improvements made in the last two years in bringing together two ventilation companies into Fläkt Group.”
