Lu-Ve acquires US manufacturer Zyklus

ITALY/USA: Lu-Ve has expanded in the USA with the acquisition of Texas-based commercial refrigeration heat exchanger manufacturer Zyklus Heat Transfer.

Based in Jacksonville, Zyklus was established in 2008 to specialise in the production of exchangers for the commercial refrigeration, refrigerated transport and air conditioning sectors.

This latest acquisition was described by Lu-Ve president Iginio Liberali as “a further step in the Group’s internationalisation strategy”.

“This completes the presence of Lu-Ve in all the most important countries in the world,” he said. “Our “glocal” growth strategy has led us to invest internationally over the years to serve the various local markets: the acquisition of Spirotech in India in 2016, the second plant in Poland, under construction and the doubling of the surface production in China, which will be completed in early 2019.”

Lu-Ve sees the acquisition strengthening its commercial presence in North America, where European technology, with its attention to environmental impacts and energy consumption, is predicted to have a major impact in the next few years.

Zyklus Heat Transfer Inc was established by Zach Riddlesperger, a third generation in the Dacus family to open a heat transfer based manufacturing facility in Jacksonville, Texas. The Dacus family has been manufacturing heat transfer products for over four decades in Jacksonville, Texas. Zach’s grandfather, WJ Dacus established Astro Air Inc in Jacksonville, Texas in 1971.
