Guntner adds new anti-corrosion option

GERMANY: Coil Defender is a new coil protection option from Güntner, specifically designed for equipment in aggressive food processing environments.

Carrying HACCP certification, Güntner’s Coil Defender is particularly aimed at areas in the sensitive food sector, eg for the storage of citrus fruits, in fermentation interrupters and in processing rooms.

It is described as a high-quality solution for all cases that require a unit with increased corrosion protection, but where stainless steel would be excessive. The powder coating, evenly applied to the entire coil, protects the conventional material combination of copper/aluminium from corrosion. In addition, the Coil Defender powder coating is resistant to conventional cleaning agents.

The powder coating is food-safe and is a standard option for all air coolers in its Compact product line.
